A few rules I try to keep:
- Scope down before you slow down. A smaller thing shipped beats a bigger thing stuck.
- The feedback loop is the product. You learn nothing from code that never runs in someone else's hands.
- Polish what people touch. The first screen matters more than the last.
None of this is new. But it's easy to forget when you're staring at the diff.
